Increase opportunities to identify and pursue research through new initiatives and needs based research with whanau, hapu, iwi, kohanga reo, kura kaupapa, wananga, mainstream providers and government to enhance advocacy activities for safer learning environments
Identify and pursue key partnerships with relevant stakeholders through appropriate channels and fostering of those partnerships to build trust and respect and improvements for safe learning environments for whanau
Encourage increased participation in activities and decision-making processes of whanau, hapu and iwi by using appropriate and effective consultation processes that awhi whanaungatanga
Effectively develop projects that enhance the kaupapa of the Society and its focus and priority areas
Increase marketing and promotional opportunities that enhance te reo Maori usage, awareness and acceptance as common practice
Increase opportunities for participation in activities and programmes through promotion of services and delivery of appropriate programmes
Develop programmes to meet the needs of whanau and deliver those programmes either directly or in partnership with other providers
Identify and pursue appropriate support systems and agencies that will enhance the participation and learning of whanau
